Synopsis

Determined to escape a life of factory work and petty crime, headstrong older brother Andy and his wayward surf prodigy younger brother Jimmy form a volatile alliance. With their seamstress mother Kat they fashion custom-made Drift wetsuits and new shorter surfboards out of their back yard garage.Their fledgling business generates a powerful buzz amongst the hard-core local surfers, but the brothers’ progressive ideas are soon at odds with their conservative town and find themselves embroiled in a violent feud with a drug-dealing biker gang looking to manipulate Drift’s early success.

Summary
Andy, Jimmy and their mother run, while they are children, from Sydney to a cost town, Margaret River that the world's most formidable and dangerous waves seemed. Through the 12 years, Andy and Jimmy develops their talents on surfing and always looks for excellent waves. Jimmy has an independent soul and is progressive but to rescue his family from bankrupt he get into the crime world. Andy make a decision: leaving from his regular work and using the Jim's reputation on surfing and his business experiences, they set up a shop that surfing equipments are sold. Designed paddle boards and handmade wetsuits. All their work get into trouble to collapse after they smear to a local drug seller.
